The objective of the Contractors Registration exercise is as follows:

 

i.            To ensure that Contractors hired by the State Government are properly accredited;

 

ii.          To confirm that Contractors/Companies employed by the State Government are duly registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act;

 

iii.        To ensure that MDAs engage only accredited contractors;

 

iv.       To advise on the registration status of Contractors bidding for State Government contracts on an annual basis; and

 

v.         To maintain a database of all Contractors/Companies hired by the State Government.

i.               Duly completed Application Form;

ii.              Payment of Registration fees: 

iii.             Certificate of Incorporation;

iv.             Evidence of Company’s Article /Memorandum of Association

v.              Current 3 years Personal-Lagos State Government Tax Clearance Certificate of Two (2) Directors;

vi.             Bank Reference Letter;

vii.            Corporate profile of the company including Curriculum Vitae of key personnel supported by professional licences (where applicable);

viii.           Passport Photograph of the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer;

ix.             Development Levy of at least two Directors;

x.              Evidence of remittance of Pay As You Earn Tax for key staff(Limited Liability Company);

 

i.                    Contractors are expected to download a complete set of application forms from the STB website : www.stb.lagosstate.gov.ng and follow the online submission guidelines,

 

ii.                  Notification of successful data capture of contractor’s details is generated and confirmation is sent by email and sms to applicant to pay Registration Fees,

 

iii.                Registration Letter and Numbers are issued on confirmation of payment of Registration Fee and company can thereafter bid/tender for the State Government projects quoting registration number . 

 

i.                    Contractors interested in doing business with the State Government are required to renew their registration annually,

ii.                  They are to log-in into the STB website: www.stb.lagosstate.gov.ng using their Registration Numbers and follow the guidelines for online completion of renewal forms,

 

iii.                Notification of successful data capture of contractor’s details is generated and confirmation is sent by email and sms to applicant to pay annual Renewal Fees as follows:
